In The Writer's Corner …

My new screenplay FALLING APART is going well. It should actually be done by the end of this month. It is a contained horror film set around the leak of a government created gas. After this I will be starting another screenplay which is titled BODIE. It is a fictional story set around the California ghost town.

I had a meeting with Saddleback Press this month. It was part meeting, part book signing and all geared toward the future which has me writing more books for them. I am truly honored to be working with this company. They have given me many opportunities and it is great to think that more are on the docket for the future.

There are 22 more pages to draw and the animation portion of INSECT will be finished. Then it will be edited with the plan to complete it at the end of this year and then release it in 2014. You can follow the movie in a more in-depth way here.

DV2 is complete!! In fact, I just sent off the screener to Cinema Epoch. This film is a bit inspired by the claustrophobic look and feel of THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2. I have even outlined DV3 which is going to be like ROSEMARY'S BABY. At that point the trilogy will be complete. Maybe.

I am also planning on shooting another quickie horror movie at some point in the next few months. It will be set around Halloween.

In The Writer's Corner…

I am working on a new screenplay called FALLING APART. Basically, it is a contained horror film set around the leak of a government created gas. I wrote it longhand awhile ago. Over time, I typed it up. I am now getting around to rewriting it. It will be done next month.

I recently turned in an outline for a new book to SaddleBack Press. The title currently is SENIOR YEAR OVER. I also did a rewrite for them of my next book SELF. DESTRUCTED. (Originally, it was titled AS IF IT WERE NEVER DONE).

I am about to start up working on INSECT again. I have drawn 70 pages and my plan is to have it all drawn by Thanksgiving (if not sooner!). After that I plan on editing it and completing it in January 2014. You can follow the movie in a more in-depth way here.

I shot DV2 for Cinema Epoch last month. I literally just finished editing it. I am sending it off to them and it looks that movie and the original DV will be coming out in either October or November.
