In the Writer’s Corner…


Currently writing a book for Saddleback Publishing that is different than anything I have ever written for them. It centers around a middle-school girl realizing the reason she’s on this planet.

You can order the first book in my new series THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE here. This series covers 6 years in the life of a boy named Erol. It follows him from the mid-1980s all the way to the early 1990s. Each year will be comprised of 12 books. You can read "The Scam," the first book in the  THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE series HERE. You can also watch an animated version of it HERE.

ELUL is done and being typed up. It is the story of a Jewish boy and a Palestinian girl and the friendship they form around his Bar-Mitzvah. I am hoping to make it more of a comedy as I rewrite it.

COOL SUMMER is at 30 pages drawn and I am putting it on hold. I have 8 live action films to edit. Once that is done I will resume the animating of COOL SUMMER. My plan is to animate COOL SUMMER in 10-20 page sections until it is done. I’ve only got 53 more pages to animate at present.

The 233 outline is done. I am going to write up the screenplay longhand and then type it up. In this script some punk kids try and rip off a palm reading house and they get MUCH more than they bargained for!

My newest longhand screenplay, ELUL, is almost done. Then it will be typed up, rewritten a few times, and then made available to producers.

Lastly, we are about to upload two films from other filmmakers. One is a remake of my first film called WALKING BETWEEN THE RAINDROPS: REVISTED. It was done by Kevin Lindenmuth. The other is EDGE OF QUARREL from director Dave Larson. ANHEDENIA FILMS ON DEMAND will also be making some films from THE FEAR director, Ron Ford (see a poster he made for one of his films above), available as well!

COOL SUMMER is still going slow but it will be over 30 pages by the end of the month!
