I just finished a very contained teen thriller called GUESTS. I wrote it long-hand, then I rewrote it long-hand, and now I am typing it up. I am hoping to have it available by the end of the year.

It seems I might be writing some new books for Saddleback Educational Publishing very soon!

As I write this it looks like we are slowly finding out who won the election for President of this great country! Whatever happens we are all Americans and we need to support not only our leaders (in whatever lawful ways we feel comfortable) but each other!

Best,

In the Writer’s Corner…

Was working on a screenplay called THE BECOMING. It’s the third screenplay in THE FORMING and THE RECKONING trilogy. Then I came up with what I think is a very marketable very contained thriller called GUESTS. So I started writing that and it looks like it will be done this month!

Once that’s completed I need to rewrite the first act of I’VE GOT A CRUSH ON YOU then return to THE BECOMING.

Well, I am back at work, in-person, in the school district, although there’s talk of COVID numbers going up in many states and in Orange County, CA where I live. I guess we’re going to just have to continue wearing masks, sanitizing our hands, and remaining 6 feet apart until we can get ahead of this curve. And we will…. it just might continue to take a bit. We are living this Pandemic, we are adapting, and ultimately we will thrive again.

Best,

Evan Jacobs

Working on the screenplay for THE BECOMING which is the third film in THE FORMING and THE RECKONING trilogy. I am writing it as a very contained horror film that I am planning to show around once it’s done.

I’VE GOT A CRUSH ON YOU needs a rewrite and I am planning on tackling that as soon as the first draft of THE BECOMING is complete.

Thankfully the numbers for COVID-19 are going down in Orange County, CA. In fact, it looks like schools are going to re-open. Folks, I think if we can all continue to do our part (masks, hand sanitizer, social distancing, etc.) we should be able to get passed this thing sooner rather than later!

See you next month,

Evan Jacobs
