Writing more books for THE VINTAGE ROSE MYSTERIES! This is a great spooky series from Saddleback Educational! I truly am honored to work with these people.

The GUESTS rewrite is done! This is a contained thriller about a guy with nothing to do on a Friday night who ends up hanging out with a group of very odd people. I am going to start showing it around shortly.

INSECT 2 is currently being written as is another animated film titled MIDDLE SCHOOL RAMBO. Both will most likely get made but which one will be first?

Many thanks to BEYOND DVD, for carrying the DEATH TOILET films, COOL SUMMER, 1985-1986 and INSECT!

Editing DV5 and it just might be completed by the end of this month! This tale of 2 cord cutters who resurrect a villain from one of the first 3 films should be, if nothing else, interesting.

Also, it looks like DEATH TOILET 420 will now be called DEATH TOILET 4: BROWN SNAKES ON A PLANE and it will actually be shot on the set of an airplane! Basically, Father Dingleberry and Brett Baxter take a trip and they end up battling a demonic toilet in the clear, blue skies!

Working on the third book for the new Saddleback Educational series. So far everything is going great! I truly love and appreciate working with these people.

The GUESTS rewrite is almost done! In fact it should be done by the end of the month. This is a contained thriller about a guy with nothing to do on a Friday night who ends up hanging out with a group of very odd people. I actually wrote this script longhand before I typed it up. I even rewrote it longhand and I think that has made for a better script.

The INSECT 2 outline is going well. I will talk more about it once it’s firmer in its structure but so far the main theme is reality mixing with the afterlife.

Many thanks to BEYOND DVD in Baltimore for carrying the DEATH TOILET films, COOL SUMMER, 1985-1986 and INSECT!

Welcome to the Office of the President, Joe Biden! Mr. Trump, thank you for engaging all parties. Here’s hoping we can get a handle on this Pandemic and continue to care for one another.

About to turn in the second book for a new series for SADDLEBACK EDUCATIONAL PUBLISHING. This new series is really creepy and weird… and I love it!

The screenplay for GUESTS is all typed up. I am now going to rewrite it a few times and start showing it around. I would describe it as a contained, thriller, comedy. Either way, it should be completely finished in the next month or two.

Currently in the early stages of writing INSECT 2. I am not sure if it is actually going to be called that but it will be a sequel to the first movie picking up when Reggie (Nik Hill) is in his senior year of high school. I decided to teach myself a new version of my old animation program. I have been working in ToonBoom version 6 forever. Now, I am working in Harmony Essentials, too. It is much more robust which also means it is a little more complicated. Either way, I am glad to be continuing my animation journey and staying somewhat current with the software.

Many thanks to BEYOND VIDEO in Baltimore for carrying DEATH TOILET 1-3, COOL SUMMER, INSECT and 1985-1986! They should be available to rent there soon.

Well… 2020 is done. Who would’ve ever thought the year would’ve gone like it did? Bring on 2021 which, hopefully, is a year of safety and rebuilding for us ALL!

Best,

Evan Jacobs
