Tomas takes Erol, Gerry and Bryan to the Fun Zone in COOL SUMMER.

Welcome!

Here is a trailer for my documentary ORANGE COUNTY HARDCORE SCENESTER. This film is a unique look at the Orange County, CA punk/hardcore music scene from 1990-1997. You can watch the trailer here.

Click here to check out the ORANGE COUNTY HARDCORE SCENESTER Facebook page.

You can purchase the DVD/Blu-ray of KNOCKOUT. This is the boxing film that I co-wrote and it stars "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. For the best price I would go to BestBuy.com.

You can stream all of my available films on Vimeo by clicking here.
Also, you can order ALL of my available films via Amazon.com by clicking here.

Finally, if you like young adult fiction (or know somebody who does), you can check out all of my young adult fiction books here. They are written for people with various levels of reading ability.

In the Writer’s Corner…

About to start a new project for Saddleback Publishing. Also, outlining a new series I hope they go for. Recently they sent me an email that basically affirmed how much they believe in me. I can’t express how much that means. They are great!

You can order the first book in my new series THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE here. It covers 6 years in the life of a boy named Erol. It follows him from the mid-1980s all the way to the early 1990s. Each year will be comprised of 12 books. You can read "The Scam," the first book in the  THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE series HERE. You can also watch an animated version of it HERE.

Still rewriting ELUL. It should be done and ready to show by late October.

The TRAP HOUSE outline is going well. This story of a man trying to get a trap house out of his neighborhood will only work if it is genuinely funny. I hope it is!

An agent is working with me on I’VE GOT A CRUSH ON YOU. They want to “whip it into shape” and try and sell it. Never really worked with an agent before. I’ve dealt with producers and managers but never an agent. Wondering where this might lead…

COOL SUMMER is half-way drawn. I am currently putting it on hold as I edit a quick film titled HOW MANY TIMES CAN I SAY I LOVE YOU? It is different than my recent movies. A funny story about a man who gets dumped by his girlfriend. In effort to get her back he makes a video trying to show her how much he loves her.

Lastly, it looks like DEATH TOILET hits streaming platforms and DVD next month!

I turn 45 this month!

See you next time,

Evan Jacobs
